FAQ

  • How should I extinguish my candle?
Never extinguish your candle by placing the lid on the jar. Gently blowing out your candle is the best way.
  • How do I get longevity out of my candle?
It is important to always burn your candle for approx 4 hours and no longer on the first burn. Always trim the wick before each burn. If you don't, the candle may smoke and cause the glass to darken. Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Tunneling, what is that?
Tunnelling with candles will occur if you have not burnt your candle long enough on the first burn to reach the edge of the jar. We recommend burning for approx 3-4 hours (depending the candle size) on the first burn to avoid tunelling. Once the candle forms a pattern of tunnelling the wick may drown and the overall fragrance throw maybe affected.
  • How do I pick a scent for me?
Choosing a candle scent for yourself can be a personal and enjoyable experience. Here are some steps to help you pick the perfect scent: Consider Your Preferences: Think about scents that you naturally enjoy. Do you prefer floral, fruity, woody, or spicy scents? Consider your favorite perfumes, air fresheners, or natural smells that you're drawn to. Think About the Mood: Consider the mood you want to create in your space. Are you looking for something relaxing and calming, energizing and invigorating, or something in between? Different scents can evoke different feelings and atmospheres. Seasonal Considerations: Some scents work better in certain seasons. For example, you might prefer lighter, floral scents in the spring and summer, while warmer, spicier scents might be more appealing in the fall and winter. Consider the Purpose: Think about where you'll be using the candle and for what purpose. Are you looking for something to help you relax during a bath, set the mood for a romantic dinner, or simply freshen up your living space? Start with Popular Scents: If you're unsure where to start, consider trying some popular candle scents like lavender (relaxing), vanilla (comforting), citrus (energizing), or sandalwood (grounding). These scents are often well-loved and versatile. Trust Your Instincts: Ultimately, go with your gut feeling. If a scent resonates with you and brings you joy or relaxation, it's likely a good choice for you. Remember that scent preferences are highly personal, so what works for one person may not work for another. Don't be afraid to experiment until you find the perfect candle scent for yourself. Thats why our Scent Sample Box is a perfect way to start.

It is an Australian Made, all natural wax comprised of Coconut and Soy wax. This wax has a smooth, creamy appearance and we love it because it holds the fragrances well.
  • Why can't I smell my candle scent?
This is a very common question. There may be a couple of factors: In what space are you burning your candle? Is the candle you purchased too small for your space. How long did you burn the candle for? Allow enough time for the candle to burn (2-4hrs) so that gives time for the scent to fill the area.
  • How long will my candle burn for?
Please note burn times do vary based on a variety of factors. These include candle maintenance, are you trimming the wick each burn, the length of each continuous burn time (a longer burn that results in a deeper melted wax pool has the tendency to evaporate faster), candle placement, if candles are placed in drafty area, the fragrance may evaporate quicker. To get the most out of your candles we always advise that you follow the Candle Care Care instructions provided on purchase.
